Condos, townhomes and new construction
South End grew up along the old rail corridor just south of Uptown, and much of what's for sale there today is newer: condos in mixed-use buildings, rows of three- and four-story townhomes, and modern infill at the edges of neighboring residential streets. A lot of it is within walking distance of the Lynx Blue Line and the Rail Trail, and that walkability is a big part of what buyers are paying for.
Photographing South End inventory well comes down to two things. First, vertical townhomes split their living space across several levels, so the shot list has to show how each floor works: the ground-floor garage and flex room, the main-level kitchen and living area, the bedrooms above and any rooftop terrace. Second, many units are compact, so the framing has to be wide but honest. Lines stay straight, and there's no stretched, fish-eye look that leaves buyers feeling misled at the showing.
Selling the lifestyle, not just the unit
Buyers shopping South End are often first-time buyers, young professionals or investors comparing several similar units. Rooftop decks, skyline glimpses, a balcony over the street and the building's amenities are what separate one listing from the next, so those features get dedicated frames. When a building has a pool, fitness room or co-working lounge, include it if management allows access. It helps an otherwise standard floor plan stand out.
A note on aerials
Every package includes drone photos, and an aerial can show how close a townhome sits to the light rail or the Rail Trail. South End is close to Uptown and within the airspace around Charlotte Douglas, though, so drone flights are subject to airspace authorization and may be limited at some addresses.
Recommended package
Signature (from $649) is the natural fit for most South End listings. The measured floor plan untangles a multi-level townhome, and the social media reel reaches buyers who find homes on their phones. Smaller condos that just need to hit the MLS quickly do well with Essentials (from $349). For a large end-unit townhome or a top-floor condo with a rooftop terrace, Luxury (from $1,295) adds a cinematic video, a 3D tour + floor plan and 3 virtual twilights.
